HDNA Reforestation Project
The Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association is striving to reach the desired and recommended goal of 45% tree canopy coverage. As of 2012 we were only at 30%. In 2014, the HDNA developed a Master Plan and has planted over 700 trees since that time. We would be happy to include you in the 2020 tree planting scheduled for Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, the 27th. We are asking for a $35 fee this year which includes the tree itself, planting, mulching, a water bag, and trunk guards. We have a variety of trees to choose from. You can see them HERE.
